ELMS COURT

Public BBQ

Elms Court represents successful council transformation, evolving from basic parkland into a comprehensive community facility. The upgraded space features covered barbecue areas alongside clean toilet facilities, making it ideal for family gatherings and special occasions. Multiple recreational zones cater to various age groups - children enjoy dedicated play equipment while older visitors appreciate the small exercise area. Basketball and tennis courts provide sporting options, though maintenance varies between facilities. The park's multi-generational appeal stems from thoughtful planning that addresses neighbourhood needs. Newly planted trees will eventually provide additional shade, though current coverage remains limited. This Moreland Council project demonstrates how strategic upgrades can transform underutilised spaces into valued community assets.
